Description

A delicious beef casserole topped with cheese and crispy French fries.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups frozen French fries
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 can (10 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat until the meat is browned; drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, stir the cooked beef mixture with milk, cream of mushroom soup, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper until combined.
  4. Layer half of the French fries in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, then pour the beef mixture over the fries, and top with the remaining fries.
  5. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the casserole is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
