A delicious beef casserole topped with cheese and crispy French fries.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups frozen French fries
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup milk
- 1 can (10 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat until the meat is browned; drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, stir the cooked beef mixture with milk, cream of mushroom soup, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Layer half of the French fries in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, then pour the beef mixture over the fries, and top with the remaining fries.
- Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the casserole is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
- This casserole can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking for a quick meal later.
- Feel free to add more vegetables like peas or corn for added flavor.
