Description

Delicious and easy cookies made with chocolate cake mix.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Eggs (Large, Room temperature)
  • 1/3 cup Oil
  • 1 box Devil’s food cake mix (Or chocolate cake mix, 15 oz. box)
  • 1/4 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar (For rolling cookie dough balls)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, add eggs, oil and mix until smooth.
  2. Add cake mix, baking powder and mix until combined.
  3. Cover bowl with saran wrap and chill cookie dough in the fridge for 15-20 minutes to make it easier to handle.
  4. Scoop out small portions of the cookie dough and roll them into small balls.
  5. Roll these cookie balls in a bowl of powdered sugar.
  6. Place them on a cookie tray, lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are firm but center is slightly soft.

Notes

  • Make sure the eggs are at room temperature for best results.
  • Chilling the dough makes it easier to handle and shape.
  • Store leftover cookies in an airtight container.
