Ingredients

  • 8 slices bacon
  • toothpicks
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional, for drizzling)

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cheese: Cut the mozzarella sticks into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Wrap with Bacon: Cut bacon slices in half. Wrap each cheese piece with a half slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  3. Seasoning: Optionally sprinkle black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika over the wrapped cheese bites for extra flavor.
  4. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Bake the Bites: Place the bacon-wrapped cheese bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Optionally drizzle a little olive oil over the bites for additional crispiness. Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is melted.
