Description

Delicious homemade Rice Krispies treats with warm spices.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 10 oz marshmallows
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ½ tsp ground cloves
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: white chocolate or icing for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Prep Pan: Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
  2. Melt Butter & Marshmallows: In a large saucepan over low heat, melt butter. Add marshmallows and stir until smooth and fully melted.
  3. Add Spices: Stir in ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, salt, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  4. Combine with Cereal: Remove from heat and fold in Rice Krispies cereal until fully coated.
  5. Press into Pan: Transfer mixture to prepared pan. Use a buttered spatula or parchment paper to press evenly.
  6. Cool & Cut: Let cool for 30 minutes. Cut into squares.
  7. Optional Decoration: Drizzle with melted white chocolate or decorate with icing for a festive touch.
