Description

Delicious thumbprint cookies filled with your choice of jam, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup jam (raspberry, strawberry, or apricot)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
  4. Gradually incorporate the flour until just combined; be careful not to overmix.
  5. Form dough into one-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Create an indentation in each ball with your thumb and fill with your chosen jam.
