Deliciously sticky honey lemon pepper chicken wings, perfect for any gathering.

- 2 lbs chicken wings, split and tips removed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- ⅓ cup honey
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- 1½ tsp cracked black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- Pat wings dry. Toss with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Arrange wings in a single layer and bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and golden.
- (Air Fryer option: 380°F / 190°C for 20–22 minutes, shaking halfway.)
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in honey, lemon juice, lemon zest, cracked pepper, garlic powder, and salt. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Toss hot wings in the honey lemon pepper sauce until fully coated.
- Serve immediately while sticky and hot.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of cracked black pepper to taste.
- For a spicier kick, add cayenne pepper to the wing seasoning.
