- 1 crusty baguette or sourdough bread (about 10 inches)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 tsp lemon zest (freshly grated)
- 1 tbsp fresh chives or dill (finely chopped)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the baguette or sourdough into half-inch pieces and place them on a baking sheet.
- Toast the bread in the oven for about 10 minutes until golden brown, watching closely to avoid burning.
- Once slightly cooled, spread softened unsalted butter generously on each slice.
- Sprinkle fresh lemon zest over the buttered toast.
- Top each slice with a spoonful of Beluga caviar.
- Garnish with chopped chives or dill before serving immediately.
