- 8 fresh figs, halved
- 4 oz creamy goat cheese
- 1 sheet store-bought puff pastry (thawed)
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into 3-inch squares.
- Place the pastry squares on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Spread about 1 tablespoon of goat cheese on each square.
- Top with fig halves, cut-side up.
- Drizzle honey over the figs and sprinkle with thyme.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
Notes
- Make sure to thaw the puff pastry in advance for easy handling.
- Feel free to experiment with different herbs such as rosemary or basil for added flavor.
