Description

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp wasabi paste
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
  2. Place the prime rib roast bone-side down in a roasting pan; pat dry with paper towels.
  3. In a bowl, combine wasabi paste, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper to form a paste.
  4. Spread the wasabi mixture evenly over the roast.
  5. Roast at 450°F for 20 minutes; reduce heat to 325°F (163°C) and continue cooking until internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare, about an additional hour.
  6. Let the roast rest for 15-20 minutes before slicing.
