A delicious dish combining shrimp, orzo, and a creamy lemon-garlic sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 1/2 cups orzo
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 lemon, zest and juice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season shrimp and sear in butter and oil; remove.
- Add garlic and remaining butter to skillet.
- Toast orzo 1 minute; add broth, lemon zest, and juice.
- Simmer until liquid absorbs.
- Add cream and Parmesan until creamy.
- Return shrimp to skillet and toss.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- This dish can be served with a side of garlic bread for a complete meal.
- Make sure not to overcook the shrimp to keep them tender.
