Description
A delicious creamy potato gnocchi cooked with garlic, rosemary, and parmesan.
Ingredients
Scale
- 400 g potato gnocchi
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add gnocchi in a single layer and sear undisturbed for 2–3 minutes until golden brown. Flip and sear the other side. Cook in batches if needed.
- Lower heat to medium. Add a little more butter if needed, then sauté garlic and rosemary until fragrant — about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Let it reduce slightly, stirring often, for about 3–5 minutes.
- Add grated parmesan and stir until melted and smooth.
- Return seared gnocchi to the pan. Toss gently to coat in sauce and let them simmer together for 2 more minutes.
- Season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and extra parmesan if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
- This dish pairs well with a light salad or garlic bread.
- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or cherry tomatoes for added flavor.
