Description

This Beef Pasta Skillet is a quick and easy one-pan meal, perfect for busy weeknights!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounces dried pasta
  • 2 cups beef broth (or chicken broth)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the ground beef and onion. Cook for 5-6 minutes, breaking the beef apart, until it is no longer pink and the onions are soft.
  2. Add the garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, until you can start to smell it.
  3. Stir in tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, mustard, salt and pepper until well combined.
  4. Mix in uncooked pasta and broth. Stir and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, cover and simmer for 8-10 minutes until the pasta is tender.
  5. Stir in the cheese until it is completely melted. Serve immediately.
