Description

This creamy Italian chicken pasta is an easy slow cooker recipe that features tender chicken breasts, zesty Italian dressing, and a rich sauce over pasta.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 ounce packet zesty Italian dressing mix
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 (10 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup
  • 16 ounces pasta (we like rigatoni or bow tie pasta)
  • optional chopped parsley for garnish
  • optional shredded parmesan cheese for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place chicken in a slow cooker and sprinkle Italian dressing mix over top.
  2. Combine cream cheese and cream of chicken soup in a small bowl and whisk until smooth; spoon over chicken.
  3. Cook on low for 4-6 hours.
  4. Once chicken is done, remove from the slow cooker and shred with 2 forks. Return to slow cooker and mix in with the rest of the sauce before serving.
  5. Serve chicken over cooked pasta. Garnish with chopped parsley and shredded parmesan cheese if desired.
