Description

Delicious puff pastry rolls filled with creamy artichoke and spinach mixture, perfect as an appetizer or snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1 cup fresh spinach (chopped)
  • 1 cup canned artichoke hearts (drained and chopped)
  • ½ cup cream cheese (softened)
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg (beaten for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a floured surface.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine spinach, artichokes, cream cheese, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until creamy.
  4. Evenly spread the filling over the pastry and roll tightly into a log.
  5. Slice the log into 1-inch pieces.
  6. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet, brush with beaten egg, and bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

  • These rolls can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking. Just extend the baking time if baking from frozen.
  • Feel free to add additional seasonings or herbs to the filling for added flavor.
