Description

A delicious treat combining tart apples, melted chocolate, and crunchy pretzels.


Ingredients

  • 2 green apples or other tart apples (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cups pretzels (crushed)
  • 12 oz milk chocolate
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • ½ cup caramel (melted)
  • ¼ cup milk chocolate (melted)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, toss the chopped apples with lemon juice to keep them from browning.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, add the milk chocolate and coconut oil.
  4. Heat in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely melted and smooth.
  5. Pour the melted milk chocolate over the parchment paper and spread it into an even layer.
  6. Scatter the chopped apples evenly on top, then sprinkle with the crushed pretzels, gently pressing them into the chocolate.
  7. Drizzle the melted caramel all over, followed by the melted milk chocolate.
  8. Refrigerate for 30–40 minutes, or until set.
  9. Break into pieces before serving.
