Instructions

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy—about 2 to 3 minutes. This step is crucial for that perfect chewy texture.
  4. Beat in the egg, then add the vanilla extract, orange juice, and orange zest. The dough will smell incredible already—fragrant, floral, and citrusy.
