- 1 lb beef sirloin or steak strips
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 package (20 oz / 567 g) refrigerated cheese tortellini
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Lightly sear the steak strips for 2–3 minutes until browned.
- Transfer the steak to the slow cooker. Add onion slices, bell pepper, and minced garlic.
- Pour in beef broth and heavy cream. Season with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Stir gently.
- Cover and cook on low heat for 2½ hours.
- Add tortellini and mozzarella cheese. Stir slightly.
- Continue cooking for another 30 minutes until tortellini is tender.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top before serving.

- This dish pairs well with garlic bread and a side salad.
- For extra flavor, add fresh herbs like basil or parsley before serving.
