Instructions
- Prepare the Steak Mixture: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined. Shape the mixture into 4-6 oval patties.

- Make the Mushroom Gravy: In the same skillet, add butter and melt over medium heat. Add onions and cook until translucent. Stir in sliced mushrooms and garlic, sauté until mushrooms are browned. Sprinkle flour over the mushroom mixture and stir well. Gradually stir in beef broth, ensuring no lumps form. Add Worcestershire sauce, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer until the sauce thickens, stirring occasionally.
- Combine Patties and Gravy: Return the patties to the skillet, spooning gravy over each one. Cover and let cook for an additional 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- Serve: Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving. Serve alongside mashed potatoes or your choice of side.
